HOW WE WORK
A controlled interpretation workflow
Every project follows a defined sequence.
FROM DATA TO VALIDATION RECOMMENDATIONS
Eight defined stages
01 — Data suitability
Available imagery and data are reviewed before interpretation begins. Data may be rejected where quality limitations prevent reliable interpretation, including significant cloud, water coverage, acquisition artefacts or other technical limitations.
02 — Project-wide scan
The available area is reviewed systematically. The scan provides the spatial context required for subsequent interpretation.
03 — Connectivity assessment
Potentially connected structures are identified and followed through the available depth range.
04 — Structural check
The interpreted system is compared with available structural information.
05 — Target definition
Only areas supported by the interpreted system are considered for target selection.
06 — 3D representation
The interpretation is converted into sections, models and other visual representations.
07 — Independent review
The interpretation can be reviewed against available geological, geochemical, geophysical and drilling information.
08 — Validation recommendations
The final stage is to define what should be tested next and where. The validation itself remains independent of the interpretation.
Poor input data should not be converted into apparently precise geological conclusions.
The purpose of the data suitability review is simple.
BEFORE WE START
No work without an agreed scope
Where appropriate, we prepare a scope of work and technical terms for review before the project begins.
No interpretation work is started without an agreed scope and contract.
AFTER WE FINISH
Validation remains independent
The interpretation can be reviewed against available geological, geochemical, geophysical and drilling information.
The appropriate validation programme is determined by the client and its geological advisers.
Have a project to discuss?
Send us the project location, area of interest and available exploration data. We will assess whether the available information is suitable for system-level interpretation.
